How do I Download and Install Thingamablog?

To download Thingamablog go to:

http://thingamablog.sourceforge.net/download.html

You should see something like this:


Do not download anything that says beta, so in this case you will skip the first section. If you are a windows user you want to download the version that says "Windows Installer" by clicking on the file name on the right hand side. In this case you would click on the link that says "thinga-setup-1.06.exe." As time passes newer versions will come out and the version number will be greater than 1.06. Download the file and when it has finished, click on it to install.

After installation run Thingamablog and click on File | New Database. You should see a screen like this:



We recommend you navigate to a place that is easy for you to remember and create a new folder called C:\Blogs or F:\T-Blog or something similar. Write down and save the name of this directory.  This is important for backup purposes. This is where all your data for Thingamablog is stored.
